The SNES Classic is getting a wireless controller from 8bitdo - MyPage

As with its predecessor, the biggest issues with the miniature SNES Classic Edition ar its wired controllers and lack of a dedicated home button. Thankfully, 8bitdo is fixing each of those problems with its new wireless controller.
The new gamepad looks almost identical to the initial Super Nintendo design, but with a solid dark gray front. more importantly, 8bitdo’s option comes bundled with a wireless dongle in order that you don’t have to fuss with the frustratingly short cords available on Nintendo’s controllers. The third-party gamepad also includes the ability to access the SNES Classic’s main menu without having to physically hit the reset button on the console; you just hit down and select at the same time if you wish to change games or adjust the display.

There ar bound to be multiple wireless options now that the SNES Classic is available (it launches today), however 8bitdo is notable because it creates some of the most effective retro-style gamepads around. The company’s lineup already includes wireless choices for the NES Classic, the Nintendo Switch, and even the original NES and SNES hardware. The SNES Classic controllers ar available to pre-order currently on Amazon for $24.99, though they won’t be shipping until December 10th.
