| How to Build a 4K gaming pc in BitFenix's Portal Mini-ITX Case |
Sometimes the case is that the most alluring a part of a pc build, but that should not stop you from packing it full of the most effective parts. that is what we've in mind when we take on BitFenix's Portal case, which draws inspiration from Valve's iconic 2007 computer game of constant name. This Mini-ITX tower has some challenges for high-end parts, particularly its compact size and slide mechanism, however it's extremely stylish and that we aim to give it some parts to match during a live build.
We push the limits of this case in terms of heat and power for its size, selecting an Intel Core i7-7700K CPU and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition graphics card as cornerstone items. To compensate, we choose another parts that create the build a good match, as you will see within the video below once we begin installing the CPU cooler. we take some shortcuts to keep the build moving on, and there ar some good lessons regarding certain components to avoid in additional compact Mini-ITX cases.
